These 5 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are too ADORABLE!!!! I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to capture these little puppies growing up! If you haven't seen their newborn pictures, please check out the blog post here...but, just in case you don't, I'm going to give you a sneak peek photo of these cuties at one week šŸ˜

Missouri does have some unpredictable weather patterns. Spring started out in a torrential downpour of rain. Then just stopped. Which I am grateful for; however, I was hoping for an overcast day to shoot the puppies at a particular location. That day finally arrived when I was driving home from work. I may have bombarded Nicole in my excitement. Sorry Nicole šŸ˜‚ It was too good an opportunity to miss out on. Nicole helped pack the puppies in the car and we drove around the corner to take the puppies first outdoor portraits. We may have underestimated their excitement for seeing grass for the first time because the puppies were everywhere!!!! I am still in amazement that we got them to look at the camera. It wasn't until I got home that I realized we had forgotten to take one of the puppies photos. Tiana missed out on this round of photos. šŸ™ˆ But that's ok because it gave me the opportunity to do a second round of photos 😁

Behold, I present you the attempted group shot šŸ˜‚ #nailedit

You would think the second shoot would have been more under control....never underestimate puppies šŸ˜‚ The lighting was perfect for photos, but my backdrop stand with the wind...not so much. Nicole and I probably looked ridiculous in my drive way. She had one hand on the backdrop stand while I would try to get one puppy out the the kennel without letting the others escape. Then after setting the puppy onto the blanket, each of us had one hand out to prevent the puppy from running out of the designated photo area. We must have looked like we were struggling because a neighbor wandered up to help us out for the remainder of the shoot. To the neighbor who helped up out, thank you so much!!!!
